Our Electricity Security
We are pleased to reassure our guests that we have circumvented the inconvenience of South Africa’s electrical power outages, fondly referred to here as “Load-shedding”, which can currently last a couple of hours in each day.
Our comprehensive Solar and Battery installation provides seamless transition to sustainable and renewable power whenever these National Grid failures occur.
No Air Conditioners will however be operational during periods of load-shedding, and in the bedrooms some wall-mounted power points may not be operational, temporarily affecting mainly the Reading Lamps, Hairdryers and Kettles.
Each morning we alert our guests if and when any loadshedding has been scheduled for that day.
